Komputronik x WeSub
Challenge and market context
The digitalization of shopping and rising customer expectations are changing the way consumers and companies use technology. More and more people, instead of buying devices outright, choose flexible, subscription-based solutions.
Komputronik – one of the largest consumer electronics retail chains in Poland – recognized this trend and decided to expand its offer with a subscription model. The cooperation with WeSub was aimed at increasing sales in this model and building internal know-how within the organization, enabling further development of the service in additional sales channels.
Cooperation assumptions
The project started in the offline channel, covering the entire network of Komputronik stores across the country. The WeSub team developed and implemented a solution that allows Komputronik customers to rent electronic equipment in a subscription model, while maintaining a simple and intuitive sales process.
The scope of cooperation included, among others:
- The scope of cooperation included, among others:
- Implementation of the subscription model in brick-and-mortar stores,
- Sales training and workshops for Komputronik’s sales staff,
- Educational and marketing materials making it easier to present the service to customers,
- Ongoing support for sales teams – both operational and advisory,
- Monitoring of results and analysis of implementation effectiveness in individual points of sale.
Thanks to these activities, subscription sales became an integral part of Komputronik’s offer, and in-store advisors gained a new tool to increase conversion and transaction value.
Results of the cooperation
The joint efforts translated into steady, strong growth dynamics. Comparing Q1–Q3 2024 to Q1–Q3 2025, the number of activated subscriptions increased by as much as 253%, and the value of concluded contracts grew by 197% over the same period. This confirms the growing awareness of customers and the increasingly effective use of the model by in-store advisors. Since the beginning of the cooperation in 2023, the number of activated subscriptions has increased in every subsequent quarter, reaching a record level in 2025. This is the result not only of rising demand, but above all of the consistent work of sales teams and effective operational support from WeSub.
“In 2023, subscription was an add-on and a testing ground for us. Together with WeSub, step by step we simplified the offer, materials and the very conversation with the customer. 2024 was the moment when advisors began to consciously reach for the subscription model, and in 2025 it became one of the main ways of financing equipment for individual and business customers, with a record number of activated contracts.”Marcin Mordak, Omnichannel Sales Director, Komputronik
Success factors
Several key elements contributed to the impressive results:
- Partnership approach – cooperation based on a shared business goal, with a strong focus on outcomes and ongoing operational communication.
- Education and motivation of sales staff – regular training sessions and workshops developed the sales teams’ skills in presenting the subscription offer.
- Data and analytics – monitoring the number of contracts, transaction values and effectiveness in individual stores made it possible to react quickly and optimize processes.
- Long-term strategy – from the very beginning, the project assumed expansion into additional channels, and the offline cooperation is the foundation for the upcoming online implementation.
Next step: online expansion
Following the success in the brick-and-mortar channel, WeSub and Komputronik are preparing to launch the subscription model online.
The new integration will allow customers to conclude contracts fully digitally – directly on the Komputronik website – while maintaining the simplicity that customers appreciated in physical stores.
Extending the project to e-commerce is a natural direction for the cooperation to develop. It will make it possible to scale sales and reach new customer segments who prefer shopping online and at the same time expect modern forms of financing technology.
The Komputronik x WeSub partnership is an example of effective sales transformation towards modern financing models.
By combining operational, training and analytical expertise, it was possible in a short time to achieve nearly double growth in contract value and lay the groundwork for further online expansion.
The project shows that technology subscription can become a real growth engine in the retail industry – provided there is a partner behind it who can connect strategy, data and everyday sales support.
